The Schulich School of Business awarded the following recipients with the School’s prestigious Alumni Recognition Award:

  • Michael Rousseau (BBA ’81), Deputy Chief Executive Officer and CFO of Air Canada, received the Award for Outstanding Executive Leadership for his significant role in Air Canada’s successful and strategic transformation over the past decade;
  • Roman Dubczak (MBA ’87), Managing Director and Head of Global Investment Banking at CIBC, received the Award for Outstanding Progress & Achievement for his stellar career at CIBC, where has held a series of increasingly senior roles; and
  • Laura Michalchyshyn (MBA ’93), the Emmy Award-winning Producer and Owner of Hubbub Productions and Executive Producer of Sundance Productions, received the Award for Outstanding Public Contribution for her accomplished career as a media executive and producer, and for her pioneering work in promoting women in the film and television industry as well as TV programs and documentaries with themes focused on social justice, women’s rights, and the environment.  

The Awards Dinner and Ceremony took place at Schulich on Wednesday, March 20. The Schulich Alumni Recognition Awards were established in 1992 to salute the executive leadership and career accomplishments of the School’s alumni.
