On September 30, 2016, Schulich broke ground at the site of the future home of Schulich’s Graduate Study & Research Building. Designed by award-winning international architectural firm Baird Sampson Neuert, the 67,000-square-foot building will stand as one of the most environmentally sustainable and socially responsible academic buildings in North America. This new home will house a number of Centres in Excellence in areas of management education where Schulich is a global leader. These include Schulich’s Centre of Excellence in Responsible Business, the Centre for Global Enterprise and the newly established Brookfield Centre in Real Estate and Infrastructure.

At the event, guests learned about the School’s new comprehensive fundraising and alumni engagement campaign called Leading Change. Dedicated to supporting Schulich’s continued growth and Innovation, Leading Change will focus on Campus Expansion, Alumni Engagement, Innovative Thinking, Research & Discovery, and Student Success. Stay tuned for more information on how you can be a part of Leading Change. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by 300 guests, including students, faculty & staff, alumni and friends.
